Adolescence can be a challenging time, and when substance misuse becomes part of the picture, it can affect every aspect of a young person's life—including school, relationships, mental health, and family dynamics. At Phoenix Counseling Services, our Adolescent Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) provides structured, evidence-based treatment that helps teens overcome substance misuse while continuing to live at home and attend school.
Our goal is to empower adolescents with the skills, support, and confidence they need to make healthier choices and build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.
An Intensive Outpatient Program offers a higher level of care than traditional outpatient counseling without requiring residential treatment. Teens participate in multiple therapy sessions each week while maintaining their daily responsibilities, allowing them to practice new coping skills in real-life situations with ongoing clinical support.
Our program is designed to address both substance misuse and the emotional, behavioral, and social challenges that often accompany it.
