Who we are?  The mission of the Crisis Services Department is to develop, implement, and provide quality/performance driven crisis response, prevention, and intervention services that address the MH/DD/SA crisis needs of Gaston, Lincoln, and Cleveland County in a manner that promotes the dignity, safety, and recovery needs of the individual consumer, their families, significant others, and the community.

What we do?  Enable individuals that are experiencing a MH/DD/SA crisis or distress to access a range of crisis prevention and intervention services in a timely and effective manner in the least restrictive setting. The right service, in the right place, at the right time.

  • Our team is composed of crisis staff who are available 24/7/365
  • Our team is available to respond to a variety of locations: consumers' homes, schools, doctor's offices, shelters, hospitals, residential facilities, jails, etc.
  • We serve all disabilities, and age groups.
  • There is no out of pocket expense for MCM
